They changed it to free for kids under 10 now, and only if you have enrolled your child in their Birthday Club program ahead of time (they’ll send you a birthday gift card for a free kid’s entrée and sundae).
And the main reason I know is because Tyra Banks was on Jay Leno one time and she was saying how she thought the deal was still going on when she came in one day and she was all sad when they told her that she didn’t get a free meal with for her birthday!
I think they stopped doing that. I did read somewhere that they still do that for kids, but not adults.
Yep I tried it myself when in my starving college student years. And they said “nope”. What a bummer. They should offer something free in celebration of a new birthyear right? A drink? Side of fries?Milkshake? But then again, we are talking about Denny’s….right? =)
Yes! I was just joking around and I asked the guy did they have any birthday specials and he said yes. “You get to eat for free”. That was here in Charlotte NC. How cool was that.
