Why do coffee drinkers get free refills?

I dont drink coffee so when ever I go out for breakfast i get chocolate milk. I usually have to order another one and pay more money. Meanwhile the coffe drinker gets free refills. Why is this?

coffe is much cheaper than chocolate milk
coffee costs about 10 cents per cup if its black. Milk or chocolate milk costs 50 cents to 75 cents for 1 glass. not many people drink 10 cups of coffee at a restaurant in one sitting. Soda also has free refills for the same reason. It’s all about the mighty dollar, called food cost.
Coffee is cheap.milk and other’s more expensive.It’s all dollars and cents. I can still get soda and tea refills in spots.

because coffee is extremely cheap. it’s not fair to us non -coffee drinkers though is it. you could order a nice glass of ice water and stick it to the coffee drinkers because ha! ice water is free, and you can have as many refills as you want. hehe
